Persimmon

Ok, its going to be blotchy and may suck, but I put persimmon on / in the green bowl. I waxed the outside in patches to resist the glaze, and left other sections so it could take the persimmon over the green slip. i didn’t clean it up, left it splotchy. i’m interested to see how it runs.

Also in the picture are the urn and the hump, as well as the heavy bowl with carvings. you can’t see it b/c its been glazed with copper red. I’m interested to see how the copper red oxidizes over black slip, and in the carved sections, whether it turns white and bleaches the black slip so its immaterial, or whether it will turn red or be a little clear.

There’s also the corner of my underglaze pencil test cup, to see how the pencil’s perform. Just testing Limestone Clear, Helnsley Clear and Celadon to see how the pencils look under glaze.
